Global Meat Alliance (GMA)
Co-Founder & Ongoing Lead
The Global Meat Alliance (GMA) began as an idea sparked by a gap we kept seeing in the industry: leaders around the world were facing similar challenges, but there was no real mechanism to connect them. No platform to share insight, align messaging, or collaborate across borders in a meaningful way.
What started as a simple concept, a monthly email linking key news and developments, quickly gained traction. From there, it grew into a consistent, trusted platform for global sector leads to stay informed and engaged. At it’s last iteration, the GMA produced monthly Insights Reports, digital formats like GMA Downloads, and strategic updates designed specifically for those working at the coalface of industry advocacy, policy, brand and comms.
The strength of the GMA has always been its network. Bringing together senior leaders from the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Europe, it fostered trusted relationships, encouraged the exchange of ideas and created opportunities for collaboration on issues shaping the future of the sector.
The GMA remains one of the industry's most recognised examples of international collaboration, demonstrating the value of connecting people, perspectives and ideas across borders to strengthen the global meat community.
